Fraem is specializing in sustainably sourced wood tilt and turn windows, sliding systems, doors and frameless glazing, which are made under the strictest guidelines meeting Passivhaus EU and Canadian standards.
The Black Line
Fraem Black Line Windows are characterized by a modern design, which is seamlessly incorporated into modern architecture. Windows can be completely aligned from the inside and outside, which allows the installation to be flush with the facade.

The wood used by Fraem are sourced from FSC certified sustainable forests. Our manufacturing processes achieve the highest EU standards with respect to environmental stewardship as it relates to forest harvesting, management and cultivation of our raw materials; as we work directly with the regional forestry industry.

European hardware allows panels weighing up to 450 kg to be opened easily and effortlessly. Fraem Sliding Panels have an integrated multi-point locking system that results in an increased security compared to standard door locks with only one point of contact and offers outstanding burglar resistance.

Windows profiles are thicker which contributes to better thermal efficiency, sound insulation and outstanding performance in a wide range of climate zones.

Fraem products are using high quality premium water based Remmers system, which, due to the four times application, provides the greatest protection against external factors. They require no additional upkeep and are maintenance free. All door & windows are hand painted with a choice of any custom color.

The Alu Line
Alu Line stays true to Fraem’s modern design and wood frame base with the addition of external aluminum cladding for durability & protection against severe weather conditions and external impacts.

Frameless Glazing
Frameless Glazings provide the same performance and appearance in a fixed window profile. Given Frameless Glazings do not need hardware they can be constructed to our maximum glass dimensions and also contain triple glazed sizes not previously available to the North American Market.

The Frameless Glazing can be used standalone or in any combination with Lift & Slide Doors or Sliders. They offer unobstructed views creating bright spaces.

Fraem offers custom build Entry Doors to meet your own design needs. From regular to pivot doors with wood or aluminum cladding, Fraem Entry Doors are fully customizable and can be created to match the Windows and Sliders in your home. Standard Doors and Profiles are available as well as the option to create your own unique identity.
